Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving~ my family doesn't celebrate it, but it doesn't really make a difference to me :/ I spent last night doing homework anyway T__T and I only have 1 page of my research paper done so far >__>

I just got a livejournal nudge from ramen_rules telling me that I have not posted an entry in 19 weeks... truthfully, I've been lurking around communities XDD but not being very productive to the fandoms :( college eats away at my time... and when I do have time to do other things I spend it all on the internet watching dramas or playing games on Facebook x_x

My friends got me into kpop over the summer... I've been extremely obsessed with DBSK and Big Bang XD

In other news, I also moved during the summer (though I only lived in my new residence for a few days before I had to leave for college again >_<) My current room is a lot bigger than my old one~ I have a nice shelf to put my smaller plushies now!! Most of them are PoT plushies XD I should take a picture some day and post it here~

While everyone's out Black Friday shopping, I'm gonna go karaoke with my friends haha XD bye~~

I have officially become a DBSK fan. This marks my forage into Korean culture xD I still love Kinki Kids and Atobe thoughhhhh, they won't be neglectedddddddd <3

Currently in love with their song "Mirotic", it's been on repeat since yesterday @_@

And now I go off to study for my midterm... it's tomorrow and there's too much about Human Evolution that I have not yet smooshed into my tiny little brain :(

I downloaded the super cute Code Geass R2 Banjou no Geass Gekijou game for the DS. And I've been playing for the past two hours. IT'S SO ADDICTING!!!

I've managed to fail story mode, instead of leading an intense battle filled life, I somehow ended up marrying Rivalz and living a very normal life. I don't know how I ended up marrying Rivalz of all people, I was so confused!!! T__T

Lots of mini-games though! I love the mini-games. Currently on stage 29 of C.C.'s pizza popping game... Out of the few that I've played so far, Nunnally's voice recognition game is by far the hardest and most amusing. I can't get past the second level, but hearing Charles scream "PIZZA!!" and "ONIGIRI!!" is waaay too amusing xDD

I ♥ this game.

Originally, I was planning to attend Japan Day at Central Park... but it looks like I'm not gonna be able to wake up for it :( oh wells, I'm allergic to trees and grass anyway xDD I need new allergy meds, Claritin doesn't work on me anymore :(

I have entered the Hetalia fandom! XD

I haven't indulged in so much BL in a really long time @_@ there are so many characters and couples!! <3 England's my favorite, he's so adorable... and his eyebrows!! Haha XD

It's really interesting, get to learn some history... though at the same time, it completely skews my views of it... every time someone mentions a country, I'm gonna envision a bishounen... xD

I've been so out of the anime loop :( I totally didn't recognize that Takahashi Hiroki did Japan's voice!! I thought Italy sounded more like him, never would have thought it was Namikawa Daisuke... but then again, I don't recall being able to recognize his voice before :/

On another note, everytime I see Italy (Veneziano) and Romano together, I think "It's the Italian brothers!" and usually, when I think Italian brothers, I think of Mario and Luigi... I think some fanart needs to be done.

I am officially an ex-Chemistry major! Hahaha! I'm pretty sure the people in the Anthropology department think I'm crazy, since I haven't taken any anthro courses and changed my major to Anthropology. But that's perfectly okay. I can definitely finish this major in two years lol

I'm really excited for my summer courses~ the paperwork was really tedious though.

And now back to finishing my Philosophy of Science final paper... sometimes I get the feeling this class affected my decision to change majors more than I think it did... hmm...

On the topic of Philosophy of Science, my new favorite word is phlogisticated! XD

Came across this video of the Kinki Kids' Harmony of December PV being played (for a total of 1 min -__-) on 東張西望　(a Cantonese entertainment news program, Takki was on there once and the program did an awesome interview~)

Harmony of December's such a pretty song~ I love finding Johnny's videos in Cantonese~ cuz I understand 100% of it instead of anywhere from 10 - 99% XD

The hosts are pretty funny. They made fun of Tsuyoshi's green hat though >_> ("wearing a green hat" is a Cantonese phrase used for men that means his wife is cheating on him) I was like ":OOO!!!" But Tsuyo's TOTALLY the wifey!! XDD /amusement

Anyways, I just finished watching Mukai Arata no Doubutsu Nikki~ It's so CUTE! Every episode had me squeeing at the cuteness XD I started this drama thinking I would finally spend a weekend watching a drama that wouldn't make me cry. But goddammit, it was too touching NOT to cry!!! Tsuyoshi really did an awesome job with this~~

Out of the 4 Tsuyoshi dramas I've seen so far (Summer Snow, 33 pun Tantei, Ningen Shikkaku, Mukai Arata no Doubutsu Nikki), I've cried while watching ALL of them!! WTF. I cried out of laughter for 33pun tantei, but I did tear up during the last episode when he got shot... I was bawling at the end of Summer Snow, and I just completely broke down in the middle of Ningen Shikkaku. Mukai Arata was slightly different, it was a touching story~ I cried several times because of the animals T__T makes me wonder if that's really how vet school works...

I highly recommend this drama for all animal lovers and Tsuyoshi lovers lol

While watching an old episode of Domoto Kyoudai with Nagase Tomoya as the guest, I found out that this song is actually a cover of Matchy's Yuuyake no Uta!! I guess it's just a real big shock since I've heard this tune so many times, but have always associated it with Cantonese. When it started playing on Domoto Kyoudai, I was like "wait... waaaaaaaaaittt!!!!! I KNOW THIS SONG!!! :O :O :O" It's such a classic Canto song~~ wow. I really like to too lol it came out the year I was born too haha XD

Not really a big deal, but it's a pretty big discovery to me. Probably because I'm such a fan of Japanese culture and love being Cantonese at the same time XD

Well, actually, that was a few hours ago lol.

My friends and I decided to make chocolate fondue, using the little dinky hot pot I have. I normally use it to boil water. So we put a bowl on it (it fit perfectly!) actually, here's a picture! Below the lj-cut~

Best idea eveeer. The local Price Chopper didn't have any good strawberries, so we settled for pretzels and the free bananas from the dining hall. And cookie dough. >_> It was good though lol. It was such a great weekend thing to do~ especially after such a shitty week. I barely got any sleep studying for organic chem and still don't feel too well about that exam. I'm not gonna think about it though >_<

I'm actually really tired right now, but I found a drama to watch (despite the unfinished ones sitting in my harddrive...) I just finished the first episode of Ningen Shikkaku with both KinKi Kids in it!!! <3 Homgosh. Tsuyoshi's so adorable in it ;o; and Koichi creeps me out... there's definitely something wrong with his character!! >_< The whole draining rabbits of their blood with needles was really messed up... @_@ I get the feeling this won't be a happy one. But I like these kinds of dramas lol. A good tearjerking drama every once in a while is nice; I cried really hard after watching the end of Summer Snow last week... on Valentines Day xD. But it was nice ^___^

Too bad not all of Ningen Shikkaku is subbed... just gonna have to struggle with the raws for the unsubbed eps... as much as I love the occasional Kansai ben, I don't understand it >_< I think I want to add Kansai dialect to the list of things I want to learn... need to build my Japanese language skills in general, It would be nice to be able to watch dramas without subs lol

WTF This chapter has 24 sections *headdesk* <-- in reference to chapter 11 of my organic chemistry textbook.

The other day at work in the chem lab, I had to unpack packages... not very interesting, until I opened these two boxes that only had a bag of weird stuff that kinda looked like rocks but were more Styrofoam-y. And I just stood there scratching my head wondering where the acetanilide and zinc were. Turns out they were hiding in the stuff! They were wrapped in another bag and I had to dig them out! It was vermiculite, which turns out to be a packing material valued for its absorbency (as wikipedia tells me). I made a huge mess, but I thought it was pretty cool. I love it when I learn something new at work xD

SNOW SNOW SNOWWWW!!! It's a snow stormmm!! But classes are still going... I was hoping for a snow day :( But now I'm hoping for a blackout in the middle of class, those are always really exciting XD

So I just finished watching the Sushi Oji movie... and now the only thing going through my head is "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?!?!?!" I was originally just going to watch the first half and then go to bed... but the wtf factor was too great XD

It was actually a lot more serious than I thought it would be. I think it was the jump from crack to seriousness to seriousness laced with crack that blew my brain to smithereens. I don't even know what to make of this movie, I'm so confuseddd!!!

Not that I didn't enjoy it. Just that I've lost several braincells in the process.

Currently in my friend's dorm room watching New York 1!! It's so nostalgic! The last time I watched news on this channel was when I was elementary school!

They mentioned the kid getting run over in front of the Chatham Square library in Chinatown... that's really sad :( I heard about it from my friend, and it's really scary that it happened so close to home. I live about 2 blocks away from there... I don't ever recall seeing my area on the news like that :(

On a lighter note, since it's almost Chinese New Years, my college's Asian Association/Club thing decided we'll be cooking something for our members to eat at the next meeting~ we're making "Buddha's Delight" I ended up having to call my mom for the recipe, and she gave me such detailed instructions. I think she's happy at the prospect that I'll be actually cooking for once xD

This semester has started off pretty good. Though my work-study doesn't start until next week, meaning I had a lot of extra free time this week. Hopefully my schedule won't be too hectic once work-study does start and the homework piles on >_< I'm really excited about being secretary for the Asian Association~ I want to spice up the e-mails hehehe~ hope everything goes well~

Dammit, time flies when you're on break and not stressing over school. I can't believe almost a month has passed! It feels like I've only been back for a week at most D:

This break was pretty productive for me in the sense that I watched a lot of dramas in one go. Normally I only watch one at a time and it takes me forever to finish, so it's like a personal record.

( I think I may be getting a little too addicted to JDrama... )

33pun Tantei is <3. Anything that can make me laugh that hard can't be bad.

Finally got my grades for this semester, never so much fail in my liiiife D: 2.7 for the semester, and 3.2 cumulative. I pretty much have the same classes next semester, so it looks like my gpa won't be going up anytime soon X_x

I've been watching Kaiki Club, and subsequently squeeing over the cuteness that is Tackey & Tsubasa. And because I have a lot of time on my hands and also couldn't help but notice how awfully huge Tsubasa's jackets were, I ended up taking a bunch of screencaps...

I'm normally not so attentive to fashion (I really shouldn't be speaking about it at all considering the only things I wear are hoodies, t-shirts and jeans xD) but god dammit, Tsubasa's jackets were way too big to NOT notice. Not to mention I have something very similar to one of the ones he was wearing XD

I'm not even done watching Kaiki Club yet. A few more episodes to go... I managed to get my brother to watch it with me hehehe. He doesn't seem to notice how I'm always pointing out Tsubasa though lol

I just got out of my organic chemistry exam... I'm really not sure what to make of it. There were a lot of problems I wasn't sure about ~___~ I finished early and went through my exam like 5 times and only corrected one thing lol. I gave in my exam, and I think the professor was trying to ask/say something, but I pretty much just went "bye" and ran away XD That was really really embarrassing >_<

I'm gonna go drown myself in T&T love now ;o; gotta finish watching Yoshitsune~

[EDIT] Noooo!! I'm on ep 38 of Yoshitsune, and all of a sudden I feel an urge to support Yoshitsune x Kagesue. I wonder if there's any semblance of a Tackey x Oguri Shun fandom out there... O_O

I am mentally done with this semester! ...Which really isn't good because the semester ISN'T over yet!! I haven't been doing as much studying and homework as I have been doing before Thanksgiving break... x3

What I HAVE been doing, however, is watch lots of Yoshitsune. I think I've broken my personal record of watching episodes of dramas in one day... ever since I started college, I haven't been able to watch more than 1 or 2 episodes a day, but I watched FOUR today!! This is all because I didn't do ANY work today, and Thursday are also my not-so-busy day...

I finally got up to ep 32, where Tsubasa makes his cameo as Nasu no Yoichi!! Gaaaaaahhhhh kakkoiiii~~~~~~ too bad it's only a cameo :( I want more Tsubasa~ it's really amazing how Nasu no Yoichi pulled off shooting an arrow that far and getting his target!! Historical figures can be so amazing and impressive *__*

I've been getting really into Yoshitsune lol... my roommate was like "wtf? O_o" everytime I vented my frustration over something that happens in the drama xD

Okay, okay. I'm gonna go back to reading the rest of the chapter for organic chem... though it'd be so much more interesting to read about Yoshitsune instead... :x I can't believe my college doesn't have a Japanese history course... -_-
